Hotel Information

Hotel Accommodations:

Hotel rooms will cost $109.00 per night (quad occupancy), plus 16% (as of April 2013) tax (in the state of Georgia, there are no tax exemptions for churches). There is a $20 fee per night for rollaway beds, and they can ONLY be added to king rooms. Rates are available from Wednesday through Sunday of convention week. Please note that a credit card will need to be provided for each room upon check-in to cover incidentals such as parking, long distance, etc.

Suites/Team Pads:

Diplomat parlors are available for $350 per night. Ambassador parlors are available for $500 per night. Each of these suite types has a full bathroom, wet bar, sitting area and a Murphy bed that retracts into the wall. Each also connects to one or two additional sleeping rooms which can be requested at the group rate. 

Amenities:

All rooms have a coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and safe. Baby cribs are available at no extra charge. The Marriott has a limited number of mini-refrigerators available at no extra charge. These need to be requested only for those with medical needs.

Reservations and Changes:

So that the hotel can accurately block your group’s rooms, you must have the total number of king and double/double rooms indicated by the January 21 registration deadline. After January 21, group leaders will be able to make changes to their group’s hotel reservations in the registration database until midnight on March 17, 2014. The information in your reservation database on March 17 will be considered your final request. Any changes, except room cancellations, made after March 17 will be accommodated if possible, but are not guaranteed. Please make every effort to have all reservations finalized by the March 17 deadline. Adding rooms after this date may not be possible. If they are able to be added, they will most likely NOT be near your group’s other rooms. Please request all rooms that you will need by March 17, 2014. Please note that any cancellations MUST be made no later than five days prior to arrival. Any no-shows or cancellations after that will be charged one night’s room and tax. Please make sure that all requested rooms are used to avoid these penalties.

All requests for changes to hotel reservations must be requested through the online registration system.

The group leader should choose a person to be the hotel room coordinator. This person should be the first to arrive and the last to leave. Your hotel room coordinator can check in and check out your group. 

Parking Information:

Valet parking will be 25% off the prevailing rate at the time of our convention and will be billed to your room. As of April 2013, the daily rate is $32 per night, so our rate would be $24 per night. There is no self-parking at the hotel. Parking for buses and oversized vans will be at an alternate location like in the past. There are a limited number of parking spaces at the hotel. If the lot is full when you arrive, you will have to park offsite and pay the rate at the location where you park. There will be no parking charges on your hotel bill if you park offsite. We will work with the hotel to provide a list of nearby parking options closer to convention.
