Hotel rooms will cost $109.00 per night (quad occupancy), plus 16% tax* (as of April 2013). Rates are available from Wednesday through Sunday of convention week. Please note that a credit card will need to be provided for each room upon check-in to cover incidentals such as parking, long distance, etc.
If you provide the hotel with your congregation’s tax exempt certification from the state of Tennessee, you will be exempt from the 9.25% sales tax. You will still have to pay the 6.7% hotel tax. The hotel must receive the letter/certificate prior to March 17. The contact person for the hotel is still to be determined. Continue to check back here for updates.
There are no suites in the hotel available for the groups to reserve. If you need additional space for meetings, devos, storage, etc., you will need to reserve an additional room.
All rooms include iron and ironing board, in-room safe, hair dryer, coffee maker, complimentary coffee, voice mail, dual line phone, executive desk & chair and upgraded bed package. A limited number of mini-refrigerators are available at no additional charge. They can be requested at check-in and should only be requested for those with medical needs
Reservations and Changes:

So that the hotel can accurately block your group’s rooms, you must have the total number of king and double/double rooms indicated by the January 21 registration deadline. After January 21, group leaders will be able to make changes to their group’s hotel reservations in the registration database until midnight on March 17, 2014. The information in your reservation database on March 17 will be considered your final request. Any changes, except room cancellations, made after March 17 will be accommodated if possible, but are not guaranteed. Please make every effort to have all reservations finalized by the March 17 deadline. Adding rooms after this date may not be possible. If they are able to be added, they will most likely NOT be near your group’s other rooms. Please request all rooms that you will need by March 17, 2014. Please note that any cancellations MUST be made no later than five days prior to arrival. Any no-shows or cancellations after that will be charged one night’s room and tax. Please make sure that all requested rooms are used to avoid these penalties.
All requests for changes to hotel reservations must be requested through the online registration system.
The group leader should choose a person to be the hotel room coordinator. This person should be the first to arrive and the last to leave. Your hotel room coordinator can check in and check out your group.
Due to changes with the parking arrangements at the Sheraton Memphis Downtown, there is now valet parking only at the hotel--no self-parking. The discounted rate for valet parking at the hotel will be $18 per night.
