Materials
The
Materials Order Form has been updated to make ordering easier. Click the
link below to open the PDF order form. Please note that you must have the
latest version of Adobe Reader (version 7.0) in order for the interactive
functions to work properly. It is a free download at
www.adobe.com. When you have the form open, click the box at the top
right, just above the form, that says “Highlight Fields.” This will show
you the spaces where you can enter information. We will enter the order
number, the shipping amount and the total due. You need to enter your name,
mailing address, church information and quantities of each item ordered.
After all of the information is entered, you can click the “Print Form”
button at the top to print a copy for your records. When you are ready
to submit the order, click “Submit By Email.” You will then choose the
email type that you want to use. If you use Outlook or similar program,
choose the “Desktop Email Application” option. If you use Yahoo or Hotmail,
choose the “Internet Email” option. Click the OK button after you select
the email type. On the next box that pops up, click the “Send Data File”
button. This will open your email program with the address, subject and
attachment already filled in. At that point, simply click “Send” to email
the order information to our office. You must send this email for us to receive the order information. You must go through this process for
it to work correctly. You cannot save the file and attach it to an email on your own. After you send the email, you will go back the form
where you will be given an option to print the form for your records.

GUARD - Guys Understanding Authority and Real Discipleship - is a group study for teen boys. The book is written by Caleb Colley (sister Hannah
wrote the GIFTS book). Based on initial reviews, the GUARD book promises to
be just as successful as GIFTS.
Some of the topics covered
include: the Divine inspiration of the Bible; who was Jesus?; being in
Christ; idols; respecting yourself, others and God; dancing; drugs and
alcohol.
The book is 13 chapters long. The
GUARD program for Lads to Leaders & Leaderettes is structured the same as
GIFTS. Groups of 3 to 10 teen boys meet monthly with an adult male leader to
study through the chapters and work on projects that are included at the end of
each chapter. The program is designed to be done over a 3-year period (one
level per year) - Level 1 is the first four chapters; Level 2 is the second four
chapters and Level 3 is the final five chapters.

GIFTS
is an acronym for Girls In Fellowship and Team Study. It is a great guide
for personal Bible study, for informal group studies or for teen girls’
classes. GIFTS is designed to foster a spirit of cooperation and fellowship
among Christian teen girls; to develop a spiritual relationship and
dependence on one another for strength to overcome temptation and serve
faithfully; and to grow in the ability to lead and participate in ladies’
Bible classes. Some of the topics in the book are: modesty, using
appropriate language, abstinence, faith and prayer.

The
Adult Manual is a great resource for all adult teachers, mentors and
parents involved in the program. It contains all of the contents of
the Student Manual, plus additional resources for the adults.
There is a section of Questions & Answers about the program; an
article on why to have competition; suggestions for selecting adult
leaders for the program; how to “ask” for volunteers; and a section on
elders’ responsibilities in overseeing the local program. |
