The best way to begin a group of Lads to Leaders & Leaderettes is to schedule a workshop in your area. This workshop is not a lecture class, but it involves adult and student participation and activities are demonstrated.

Workshops:

Call the National Service Center and let us know which weekend is convenient for your adults and students and we will put it on our calendar! .

Workshop Itinerary:

• Saturday (approximately 4 hours)
• Sunday: combined Bible class of all students and adults. Lads to Leaders staff will conduct worship service.

Adults will learn how to:

1. Organize and complete the program with every student
2. Recruit and organize adequate adult help
3. Adapt Lads to Leaders & Leaderettes to existing youth programs
4. Develop and train peer leaders among teens
5. Create volunteer spirit
6. Get 100% cooperation

Students will learn how to:

1. Grow spiritually using an individual character building curriculum
2. Earn scholarships to Christian colleges worth thousands of dollars
3. Motivate themselves to become self-starters
4. Set and obtain worthy goals
5. Prepare for the annual convention
6. Speak in public with confidence

Cost:

• There is no fee for a workshop, but we would appreciate and accept reimbursement for travel expenses.
• Manuals, rules and awards books, curriculum guides and other materials will be available for purchase.
